Antibacterial Orals

Composition:

  • Each ml contains
  • Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride - IP
  • Equivalent to Ciprofloxacin - 2gm

Indications:

Broad spectrum antibacterial, indicated singly or as a follow up to Ciprovet injection in respiratory, GI tract infections, soft tissue infections (Skin & Bone) intrauterine as a pessary for retained placenta, calf scours in calves etc.

Dosage and Administration:

  • Oral: LA:-1-2 bolus every 12 hours
  • Sheep & Goat: ½ bolus every 12 hours
  • Intrauterine: ½ to 1 bolus as a pessary.

Special note:

½ to 1 bolus dissolved in luke warm water (about 200ml) can be used for wound washing, flushing of wounds etc. as a followup therapy for Ciprovet injection, or as a oral therapy where injection is not needed.

Composition:

  • Equivalent to Ciprofloxacin - 1500mg
  • Tinidazole - IP - 1800mg

Indications:

Antibacterial & Antiprotozoal in action. Combination ideal for Gastro intestinal infections, Antiprotozal action against Amoebic & coccidial infections in farm animals and mixed bacterial protozoal infections of GI tract in farm animals, and B. Coli infections, colibacillosis in new born calves etc. and also intra uterine as a pessary and douching of uterus.

Dosage and Administration:

  • Oral: Cattle 3 – 4 boli (divided in to 2 doses)
  • Sheep & Goat: 1 – 2 boli (divided in to 2 doses)
  • For intra uterine douche dissolve 1 bolus in 100ml of distilled water

Special Note:

  • Ideal for mass treatment in sheep flocks.
  • Specific for calf scours in young calves (Neonats)
  • Ideal for mixed GI tract infections of unknown etiology in all farm animals.

Presentation:

1 Bolus in blister pack.

Ciprovet-T injection

Composition:

  • Each ml contains :
  • Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride - IP
  • Equivalent to ciprofloxacin - 125mg
  • Tinidazole - IP - 150mg
  • Aqeus base - q.s

Indications:

Dual purpose suspension both for oral and intra uterine use against various systemic infections like calf scours, diarrhoea, Coccidia & Amoebic infections, dysentry etc., intra uterine use, while handling the cases of dystokia, pyometra, endometritis etc.

Dosage and Administration:

  • Oral: LA: 60ml for 300kg
  • SA: 30-60ml (divided in to 2 doses)
  • Intrauterine: 30-60ml or as directly by the vet.

Special Note :

Ideally suited for mass treatment in sheep herds in infections and in-contact animals.

Tridox Bolus

Composition:

  • Each ml contains :
  • Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride - IP
  • Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride - IP

Indications:

Broad spectrum antibacterial, effective in coli bacillosis, anthrax, black quarter, haemorrhagicsepticaemia, blue tongue in sheep, foot-rot in sheep C R D, coryza in poultry, supportive in treatment of secondary bacterial infections to viral infections.

Dosage and Administration:

  • Large animals: 1 bolus for every 80 kg body weight.
  • Sheep, Goat and Calves: 1 to bolus per animal.
  • (Repeated after 3 days if necessary) orally.

Special Note :

Only IM route in cattle and sheep inject the drug in 2-3 different site of the body preferably in deep dluteal muscle. Ideal for rural conditions where long action injections are needed (Single shot therapy)

  • 10 Blisters of 5 tablets each

BIOSULPHA

Composition:

  • Each ml contains :
  • Trimethoprim - IP - 200 mg
  • Sulphadiazine - IP - 1000 mg

BIOSULPHA

Composition:

  • Each ml contains :
  • Trimethoprim - IP - 400 mg
  • Sulphadiazine - IP - 2000 mg

Indications:

Synergitic action against bacterial diseases like HS, BQ, Pneumonia, GI tract infections, Diarrhoea, Metritis, Endometritis, Retained placenta, Mastitis, foot rot in sheep, supportive in secondary bacterial infections to viral problems.

Dosage and Administration:

2 Boli of single strength or 1 Boli of DS is given in for 80kg body weight in two divided doses.

Special Note :

Proven action technically called as “DOUBLE SEQUENTIAL” blockade of Sulpha and Trimethoprim synergistic action against micro organisms.

Presentation:

  • 10 blister of 4 bolus each in a single box

Biosulpha Powder

Composition:

  • Each ml contains :
  • Trimethoprim - IP - 2%w/w

Indications:

Synergistic & Sustained action against Gram +ve, Gram –ve bacteria, H.S, B.Q, Pneumonia, gastro enteritis, diarrhoea, foot rot, metritis, endometritis, retained placenta, mastitis, etc,

Dosage and Administration:

For oral treatment in poultry & Sheep

Poultry: 2.5gms per 100 birds below 12 weeks for 3 to 5 days.

5gms per 10 birds above 12 weeks for 3 to 5 days.

Sheep: For mass treatment as a drench or electuary.

2.5 to 5gm for each animal for 3 to 5 days.

Presentation:

  • 100gm & 500gm

Biolamb Powder

Composition:

  • Each ml contains :
  • Trimethoprim - IP - 20mg
  • Sulphadoxine - IP - 100mg

Indications:

Broad spectrum antibacterial, effective in coli bacillosis, anthrax, black quarter, haemorrhagicsepticaemia, blue tongue in sheep, foot-rot in sheep C R D, coryza in poultry, supportive in treatment of secondary bacterial infections to viral infections.

Dosage and Administration:

Cattle, Horse, Sheep and Goat: 0.25gm per 1 kg body weight once a day orally.

Dog & Cat: 0.125gm per 1 kg body weight once a day orally.

Poultry: 1 to 2gm per 1 litre of drinking water or as directed by the veterinarian.

Withdrawal period:

  • Milk – 2 days, Meat – 10 days.

Presentation:

  • 100gm pouch.

tetracycline Oral Powder

Composition:

  • Each ml contains :
  • Tetracycline hydrochloride - IP - 50mg

Indications:

A broad spectrum Antibiotic for oral use.

Cattle, Sheep and Goat: Against H.S., B.Q., Calf Pneumonia, calf scours, joint ill, contagious caprine pleuro pneumonia, Footrot, Mastitis, Metritis.

Against secondary bacterial infections to viral diseases like foot and mouth. Rinderpest, Mucosal diseases complex, canine distemper etc.

Poultry: To prevent early chick mortality, prevent stress due to extreme climatic conditions, Fowl cholera, chronic respiratory diseases, white bacillary diarrhoea.

To combat secondary bacterial infections & associated with viral infections.

Administration

Oral through drinking water

Dosage:

  • Large animals: 2.5 to 5gm per 15 kg body weight.
  • Small animals: 1gm/kg body weight once in 24 hrs.
  • Poultry: 2.5gms in 4 liters of drinking water (below 12 weeks), 5gms in 5 litre of drinking water (after 12 weeks)

Presentation:

  • Sachet of 100gms.

Cydox Oral Powder

Composition:

  • Each ml contains :
  • Doxycycline HCL -IP
  • equivalent to Doxycycline - 10%w/w
  • Neomycin sulphate - IP
  • equivalent to Neomycin base - 10%w/w

Indications:

Against diseases caused by gram positive and gram negative organisms in cattle sheep and goat.

Dosage and Administration:

Oral: Cattle, Sheep, Goat & Dog: 10 to 20mg per kg body weight for 3 to 5 days.Poultry Treatment: Birds below 12 weeks of age: 1gm in 5 ltrs of drinking water for 3 to 5 days. Birds above 12 weeks: 1gm in 10 ltrs of drinking water for 3 to 5 days.

Prevention:

  • Birds below 12 weeks of age: 1gm in 10ltrs of water.
  • Birds above 12 weeks of age: 1gm in 5 ltrs of water.

Presentation:

  • 20gms & 100gms.
