Nitrofurazones and Antibloat

Composition:

  • Each uncoated tablet contains
  • Metronidazole - IP - 1000mg
  • Furazolidone - IP - 500mg
  • Loperamide Hydrochloride - IP - 7.5mg
  • Excipients - q.s

Indications:

Diarrhoea, dysentry, bovine coccidiosis, Balantidiosis, Bacterial infections of alimentary canal.

Dosage :

  • Large animals: 4-6 boli/day (divided into two doses) for 3 to 5 days.
  • Small animals: 1-2 boli/day (divided into two doses) for 3 to 5 days.

Presentation:

10 Blisters of 4 boli each.

Indications:

Used in prophylactic and therapeutic treatment of infections caused by bacteria (gram positive and gram negative) mostly for bacterial enteritis particularly of salmonella clostridium, food poisons. Protozoa (Histomonasmeleagridis and balantidium coli in cattle, poultry)

As directed by the veterinarian

Presentation:

Composition:

  • Each 100ml contains :
  • Silica in Dimethicone suspension - 1.0gm
  • Dil Oil - BP - 0.5ml

Indications:

FROTHY BLOAT, TYMPANY IN SMALL & LARGE RUMINANTS

Action:

Simethicone: acts as an anti foaming agent, hence useful in frothy bloat.

Helps in combination with other ingredients as antacid, antiflatulent and helps in preventing the gastrointestinal refluxes.

Dil Oil:

Antiflatulent, increases surface tension, helps in reducing frothy bloat.

Dosage and Administration:

  • As an oral drench mixed with equal amounts of water.
  • Large animals (Cattle & Buffaloes): 50 to 100ml (Twice a day)
  • Sheep/Goat: 10 to 20 ml (twice a day) or as directed by the veterinarian.

Withdrawal period:

Milk & Meat: Nil

Packing & Presentation:

100ml.
